What Fire Watch Means
Fire watch is continuous life-safety monitoring required when a fire protection system is offline (sprinklers, alarms, standpipes, suppression, etc.) or when the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requires it. Fire watch helps reduce risk until systems are restored and provides written documentation for compliance.
